You could say Chris Stapleton was a really big winner April 15. It was his 40th birthday, he won the Academy of Country Music award for Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year, and his wife, Morgan, gave birth to twin boys. I don’t know how he will be able to top this date in personal history.

Here’s the list of winners:

Entertainer of the Year: Jason Aldean

Female Vocalist of the Year: Miranda Lambert

Male Vocalist of the Year: Chris Stapleton

Vocal Duo of the Year: Brothers Osborne (that’s one for the Maryland boys!)

Vocal Group of the Year: Old Dominion

New Female Vocalist of the Year: Lauren Alaina

New Male Vocalist of the Year: Brett Young (Look for him at The Great Frederick Fair in September)

New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year: Midland

Album of the Year: “From A Room Vol. 1” Chris Stapleton

Single Record of the Year: “Body Like a Back Road” Sam Hunt

Song of the Year: “Tin Man” Miranda Lambert with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall

The Bellamy Brothers (Howard and David)  will perform on Fox & Friends April 17 and talk about their new autobiography, “Let Your Love Flow: Life and Times of the Bellamy Brothers,” and their new reality show, “Honky Tonk Ranch” which airs Sundays on The Cowboy Channel at 8:30 p.m.

They’ve been on the road for more than 40 years, starting with their first big hit, “Let Your Love Flow.” Their touring schedule takes them worldwide and they typically play up to 150 shows a year.
