A New Era Begins for the Washington Nationals

Hey Nationals fans!  I hope you all had a safe Halloween – did you all see my son dressed as Jayson Werth?  Anyway, now that the World Series is over, the Washington Nationals can make it official:  Matt Williams has been hired as their new manager. Williams, 47, becomes the fifth full-time manager in Nationals history. The 2013 Season in Review

The 2013 MLB baseball season is over, and while many teams are moving on to the postseason, that does not include the Washington Nationals.  The World Series was the ultimate goal for the team, as manager Davey Johnson was clear to point out all the way back at the Winter Meetings when he was quoted as saying “World Series or bust!”  Unfortunately, the Nats fell well short of that this season.
