Census Data Good News for Frederick County

The new 2014 statistics from the Census’ American Community Survey, released this month, shows continuous signs of improvement for commuting in Frederick County. Frederick County drive alone rates have continuously decreased since 2005 (with the exception of 2007) from 79.1% to 76.3%. This is lower than the national average drive alone rate of 76.5%. The September 2013 Real Estate market statistics for Urbana in Frederick, MD (zip code 21704) are in and the great news is that the Urbana Homes Sales (by sold dollar volume) are doing much better in September 2013 than September 2012; 32.98% better to be exact!  The bad news is that the homes for sale in Urbana are staying on the market 14.06% longer in September 2013 than September 2012.
