Try to take this with a grain of salt if you will...
I am in a web community called Shoryuken.com. It's a website for fighting game enthusiasts like myself. Features are shown, tips and strategies for fighting games and online web forums from what you had for lunch today to organizing a gaming tournament. Shoryuken.com, also known as SRK, had a user who posted something about Marvel vs. Capcom 3. It was stated that the game would be announced sometime in May.
Typically, when posts like there are made, the thread (discussion board) gets closed since there really isn't any evidence to support the user's statement. That user may be labeled a troller (making posts that have no redeeming value a current topic on hand) or get a warning.
But...this user was banned from SRK permanently. This wasn't the first time the poster, known as Henaki, was banned.
Last summer, Henaki posted the leak of Super Street Fighter IV, including the ENTIRE CHARACTER ROSTER. Although he was banned then, he was right; dead on right.
Most likely he was currently banned because he knew too much and someone needed to stop the leak. Think about it; if the information Henaki knew if was false then no one would think twice about it and he wouldn't be banned. But if it were true, then the banning pretty much confirmed the suspicion of a new Marvel vs. Capcom title wouldn't it?
For a lot of fighting game fans out there, let's hope he's right again!
