Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition

So far, the Arcade Edition of Super Street Fighter IV has been doing well. It has been released in Japanese arcades and various arcades around the world. Pretty much, every character has received balance tweaks and while some tweaks have been welcomed, others have been a pain. The biggest change in Arcade Edition is the addition of Yun and Yang, twins who appeared in the Street Fighter III series. So far, they have been holding their own and those who used Yun back in 3rd Strike will feel right at home using Genei Jin.

A bigger surprise is Daigo Umehara, one of the best Street Fighter players in the world, has ditched his main character, Ryu, and has picked up Yun. I was pretty surprised myself. He picked Yun after Ryu was rebalanced; not to his favor of course. As usual, he has been crushing opponents using Yun.

So there, there is no word that the Arcade Edition is heading to consoles but there is a strong possibility that it could happen. Time to start begging Capcom!
