Saturday, April 20 — Central Church Road

(Click any photo to enlarge.) Halfway between New Market and Libertytown on Rt. 75 sits Central Chapel, built in 1843, and its graveyard across the road.  The chapel is actually at the corner of Drummine Road and Central Church Roads, and although I have walked Central Church Road before, I knew that it would present new things for my camera today.  On my last walk there, I got great frost photos. Thanks to yesterday's storm front passing through, we had a gorgeous, although cool and windy day.  I bundled up in my sweatshirt and scarf for my walk along this country road.  Dandelions and wild mustard were the primary flower color against new green in the fields and along the roadside. The road is surrounded by beautiful farms and great vistas.  I hope you enjoy the photos from today as much as I enjoyed my brisk, fresh air walk!  ****************** Visit my photography show, "My Maryland," at the public library in Urbana, Maryland, on the lower level of the building.  It is there until the end of April.
