Town and Country

Have you been to the Artist Angle gallery yet? It’s a little off the beaten path, but well worth finding. It’s in the same building as Joanie’s Carroll Street Cafe, on the Commerce Street side. Just look for the purple door.

They’ve done an incredible job of transforming the basement of a former granary into a unique art space.

Mick Williams and Donald Frame will be exhibiting from October 17 through November.

Mick Williams specializes in watercolor paintings featuring landscapes, still lifes and jazz.

He has also worked as a graphic artist, art director and  syndicated cartoonist.

Donald Frame is a professional car, portrait, event, nature and crime scene photographer. He worked as a darkroom technician in the Dade County Public Safety Department, AKA “CSI Miami.”

As Donald says, “The camera doesn’t lie … but it will tell you stories.”

You can meet both artists at the October 17 opening of their show, “Town and Country,” from 6-9.

The gallery is at 124 S. Carroll Street.
